Alma Hensley, 87, Crofton, died Sunday, Nov. 23, 2003, at Jennie Stuart Medical Center of natural causes.

Services will be at 1 p.m. Tuesday at Beshear Funeral Home, Dawson Springs, with the Rev. Junior Heltsley officiating. Burial to be in Hawkins Cemetery, Christian County.

A native of Christian County, she was born Jan. 5, 1916, the daughter of the late Milo and Lola Burris Alexander. She was a homemaker and had worked for 14 years at International Shoe Co. She was a member of the Mt. Carmel United Methodist Church.

Survivors include two sons, Dale Hensley, Christian County, Glenn Hensley, Trigg County; two daughters, Opal Faye Hensley Baker, Whiteland, Ind., Linda Kaye Hensley Howell, Christian County; a brother, J.D. Alexander, Evansville, Ind.; a sister, Gail Finley, Trigg County, 11 grandchildren and 12 great-grandchildren.
