George V. Miller is my great great grandfather.
We have located a copy of George's mother, Catherine Miller's probate and will that was filed in Gasconade County, Missouri. Based on our research we know that her husband was Daniel Miller and the marriage produced 8 children one of which was George V Milller.
We have never identified either Daniel nor Catherine's final resting place. Personal Research indicates that there were TWO (2) females with the name Catherine Koontz that resided in Ashe County North Carolina.
Carole Conrad, who with Jim Highfill, have had DNA testing done that tie them to Rachel Dickson, George's wife. They have "located" a burial site for at least one of our identified Catherine Koontz Miller. The Catherine Koontz indicated, is buried in Ashe County, North Carolina in a cemetery near, or next to, a Daniel Miller. Their identified Catherine Koontz Miller is FAG ID 142587079 . I do not presume that Daniel and Catherine are buried in the Michael D Miller Cemetery.
We can NOT say, with certainity, whether this in fact George's mother. It is a predictive assumption by Carole and Jim.
We STRONGLY recommend that you perform your own research to confirm or deny the parental link to Catherine Kootnz Miller.
