Services Held for Mrs. Louisa Schneider Today
Funeral services were held for Mrs. Louisa Schneider, at Drake this afternoon. Burial was made in the Miller Cemetery. Rev. George W. Woestemeyer officiated. Mrs. Schneider died on Tuesday. She was 91 years old.
Mrs. Schneider is survived by two sons, Alexander Schneider of St. Louis and Gustave Schneider of Owensville Route One, five daughters, Rachel Williams of Hermann, Christena Schumaler of St. Louis, Alice Prussen of Wood River, Illinois, Cynthia Schaeferkoetter of Woollam and Charlotte Helm of Washington; seventeen grandchildren and three great grandchildren. She also leaves three sisters, Mrs. Mary Schulte of Drake and Delina Schneider and Nancy Willimann of Swiss.
Louisa Jane Miller born born near Drake on January 29, 1849. She was married to Casper Schneider on October 7, 1873. Mr. Schneider preceded her in death a number of years ago.
Mrs. Schneider was a member of the Zion Methodist Church at Drake. She was one of Gasconade County's oldest residents. Her sister, Mrs. Mary Schulte, who is 95 years of age, is so far as can be learned, the oldest resident of the county.
