Funeral services for Mrs. Will Crossland, 70-year-old resident of Windom, were held at the First Methodist church here at 2 o'clock Monday afternoon.
Mrs. Crossland died in a Honey Grove clinic Saturday afternoon, May 2, 1959, following a brief illness.
The Rev. Milford Thompson, pastor of the First Methodist church, officiated and interment was in the Dodd City cemetery with West Funeral Home of Honey Grove directing.
Surviving are her husband, Will Crossland, of the home address; two sons, Howard Crossland of Honey Grove and Travis Crossland of Windom; three daughters, Mrs. J. T. Clark of Bonham, Mrs. Amos Clark of Pattonville and Mrs. John Cleaver of Windom; two brothers, Earl Barnett of Honey Grove and Roy Barnett of Tulia; 17 grandchildren and 16 great-grandchildren.
A native of Arkansas, Mrs. Crossland was born in Boonville Feb. 3, 1889, the daughter of the late Mr. and Mrs. David Barnett.
She was married to Will Crossland July 2, 1911, and they had made their home in Fannin County since then.
She was a member of the First Methodist Church.
