Crossland died Friday night at the Fannin County Hospital following an extended illness.
He was born Nov. 21, 1886, in Bullett County, Ky., son of Charlie A. Crossland and Elizabeth Dragoo Crossland.
He married Ida Barnett, July 2, 1911, in Fannin County. She preceded him in death May 2, 1959.
Crossland was a retired farmer and a member of the Windom United Methodist Church in Windom.
Survivors include his daughters, Mrs. Ruby Ray of Blossom and Mrs. Bonnie Clark of Bonham; sons Howard Crossland of the Harmon Community and Travis (Buster) Crossland of Pattonville; 19 grandchildren, 51 great-grandchildren, 23 great-great-grandchildren, several nieces, nephew, and cousins.
Grandsons will be pallbearers.
The family will receive friends at Cooper-Sorrells Funeral Home in Honey Grove from 7-8:30 p.m. Saturday.
