George W. Adams, of Rayville,
died July 10th, at the age of
seventy-three years. He was
the father of eleven children,
seven are living. He lived in
our communitv for fifty years.
Three years ago he moved to
Rayville. He was a member of
the Baptist church and was a
good christian man. The funer-
al was preached at Union by
Rev. G. W. Mitchell, assisted by
the writer, to a large number of
friends and relatives. Burial
was in the Union cemetery.
