Charles Snoddy Dies at Hospital
Charles Snoddy, 70, of Raceland, died at the Huntington C.& O Hospital at 6:30 PM yesterday after a brief illness. He had suffered a cerebral hemorrhage at his home Sun. evening and was removed to the hospital.Mr. Snoddy was born in Greenup Co. Oct. 3, 1879, son of the late Mr and Mrs Abner Snoddy. He was a retired C & O car repairman. Surviving are the wife, Cora, and the following children; Jesse, at home; Clifford and Chester of Raceland; Mrs John Pelfrey of Lima, O.; James of Richmond, Va.; and Arthur of Ashland. Three children preceded him in death.The body was removed to the Carman Funeral Home. Arrangements are incomplete, pending arrival of out-of-town relatives.
