Obit Lima News, Lima, OH -- Mrs. Pearl Lena Pelfrey, 51, of No. 5 Superior Ct. was pronounced dead on arrival at 10 AM Sunday in St. Rita's hospital. Born Feb. 19, 1916 in Ashland, KY., she was the Daughter of Charles and Cora Pennington Snoddy, She was married to John L Pelfrey who survives.
In addition to her husband, Mrs. Pelfrey is survived by two daughters, Mrs. Richard (Cora) Perine of New Holland and Mrs. Flora Fredericks,, of 635 N. Mc Donel.; four brothers, Clifford of Raceland, Ky. Arthur of Ashland, Ky,. James of Newport News, VA., and Chester of Pittsburgh, Pa; a sister Jesse of Raceland, Ky,. and 11 grandchildren.
She was an employee of Ex-Cell-O Corp. and was a member of UAW local 1211. Services will be at 2:30 PM Wednesday at Chiles and Sons-Laman Funeral Home, Rev. Walter Wilson officiating. Burial will be in Memorial Park Cemetery, Friends may call after 7 tonight at the funeral home.
