Diphtheria claimed the life of Helen Margaret Brown, three-year-old daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brown, east of Clear Creek, at 10 o'clock this morning. The mother is ill, suffering from what doctors fear is the same disease.

Besides the parents, Helen Margaret is survived by a brother, Victor Eugene and a sister, Estelle Louise. The father is a brother to William and Paul Brown of the Graham Motor Sales company.

Funeral services will be private, and the time has not been decided.

Private funeral services for Helen Margaret Brown, daughter of Mr. and Mrs. Chester Brown, will be held at 10:30 a. m. Wednesday from the residence, east of Clear Creek. The Rev. Harry T. Bridwell will be in charge of the services. Interment will be in the Clear Creek cemetery.

The three-year-old child died at the home Monday morning from diphtheria.
