Mrs. Olive Lucille Brown, aged 33, wife of Chester Brown, died at her home near Clear Creek at 8:45 p. m. Sunday. She had been ill more than two years, suffering from a complication of diseases. She had undergone an operation a few months ago, but no lasting benefit was derived from it.

Mrs. Brown is survived by the husband; two children, Richard Eugene and Estelle Louisa; the parents, Mr. and Mrs. Otis Whaley, west of Ellettsville; three brothers, Winfred Whaley, of this city, and Lyle and Arthur Whaley, of this county, and one sister, Mrs. Clifford Lawrence, of Stinesville.

She was born near Ellettsville and attended the schools there, graduating from the Ellettsville high school. She was a member of the Clear Creek church, the Cross Roads Community Workers club and the Ladies Aid of the Garrison Chapel church.

Funeral services will be held at 10 a. m. Wednesday at the Clear Creek church, and will be conducted by the Rev. Frank Messersmith. Burial will be in the Clear Creek cemetery. Pallbearers are Hershel Gotwall, Herbert Brown, Noble Mitchell, Wylie Sare, Eithel Reynolds and Virgil Emmert. Wives of pallbearers will serve as flower bearers.
