BATON ROUGE -Lula S. Boudreaux, 92, of Baton Rouge, and a native of Church Point, died Wednesday, July 5, 2006 at Our Lady of the Lake Regional Medical Center.
Visitation will be at Welsh Funeral Home, 6700 Florida Blvd., Friday, July 7, 2006 from 5 p.m. to 9 p.m. and continue Saturday, July 8, 2006 from 9 a.m. to 9:30 a.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be at 10 a.m. at St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church conducted by Rev. Samuel C. Maranto. Interment to follow in Our Lady of the Sacred Heart Old Cemetery in Church Point.
Lula is survived by six daughters, Eldine, Glenda and Druw Boudreaux, of Baton Rouge; Theresa and her husband, Virgil Brady, of Baton Rouge; Loretta and her husband, Willie Jagneaux, of Lake Charles; and Linda and and her husband, Jimmy Morgan, of Baton Rouge; three sons, Floyd and his wife, Sandra Boudreaux, of Baton Rouge; Glenn and his wife, Elaine Boudreaux; and Carl and his wife, Robin Boudreaux, of Central; numerous nieces and nephews, 16 grandchildren; 20 great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by her husband, Jack Boudreaux; two sons; Jack Lester, and Hendrick Adam Boudreaux; one brother Doctor R.L. Savoy; three sisters, Vivian Castille, Bell Melancon and Bea Venable; her father, Moise Savoy; and her mother, Eliza Leger.
Pallbearers will be Kevin, Brian and Steven Brady; Mathew and Donovan Mapes; and Louby Faulk.
Lula was a member of St. Gerard Majella Catholic Church Rosary Alter Society.
Welsh Funeral Home of Baton Rouge has been entrusted with the arrangements.
