RUSSELL JACOB BOWERS, husband of Mrs. Alma (Olsen) Bowers, 1921 Dual Highway, died at the Washington County Hospital Friday, aged 66 years. He was born in Hagerstown, son of the late Jacob Elmer and Annie (Middlekauff) Bowers.

He was a member of the First Christian Church. Mr. Bowers was a former director and a retired vice president of production at Victor Products Corporation. He was a director of Home Federal Savings and Loan Association.

Besides his wife he is survived by daughters, Mrs. Dorothy Hammond, Hagerstown; Mrs. Mildred Cannon, Bethune, SC; son, Victor M. Bowers, Hagerstown; sisters, Miss Hazel L. Bowers, Hagerstown; Mrs. Ethel Spangler, Washington, DC; brothers, Walter L. Bowers, Cumberland, Edgar E. Bowers, Washington, DC; and six grandchildren.

Funeral services were held at the Norment Funeral Home; interment was in Rest Haven Cemetery.
