Miss HAZEL L. BOWERS, 1703 Sherman Ave., age 63, died at the Washington County Hospital Wednesday evening. She was born in Hagerstown, the daughter of the late Jacob E. and Annie E. Middlekauff Bowers.
She was a member of the Trinity Lutheran Church. She was employed at the Washington County Hospital as a secretary in the admittance office for 18 years.
She is survived by one sister, Mrs. George P. Spangler, Silver Spring, Md.; brothers, Walter L. Bowers, Cumberland and Edgar E. Bowers, Tacoma Park, Md.
Funeral services were held at the Coffman Funeral Home; burial was in Rose Hill Cemetery.
