Clarence C. Millsapps, 84 died June 14, 2015, at his home in Montrose. He was born Dec. 14, 1930 in Denver, Colo., to his parents, Virgil S. and Permelia Ellen (Hannah) Millsapps. He grew up in Englewood, Colo., and after he married, he lived in Lakewood, Colo., for 30 years.

He was a lifelong mechanic and fixer-upper. He was retired from Lakewood/Bancroft Fire Department (now West Metro Fire Protection District), where he was a master mechanic. He and his wife moved to Montrose in 1984.

He liked to fish and ride horses and hunt. He was an avid Model T Ford and old tractor enthusiast. Enjoyed old engines of all kinds. He liked to invent and guild all sorts of wheeled toys--tricycles, double-decker bicycles, pedal tractors, etc.

Survivors include his wife of 64 years, Frieda, sons, Clifford C Millsapps, Gary S.D., and Scott A Millsapps, Lakewood, Colo.; daughters, Deborah (Bob) Weiss and Paula Millsapps, Montrose, COlo., brother Richard (Paula) Millsapps, Lakewood, Colo.; Sisters Helen (Pat)McCabe, Aurora, Colo., and Sharon (Tom) Novotny, Sandy, Ore.; grandchildren, Josh, Kyle, Allison, Sarah, and Erin; and five great-grandchildren.

He is predeceased by brothers, Keith, John, Herview, and LaVerne; and sistrs, Hazel, Cleo and Shirley.
