Virginia R. Andrew "Jenny Johnson, 81 , of 119 Bunton Lane died Saturday, July1, 2005, at the King's Daughters Hospital. She was born Jan. 25 in Trimble County Ky., the daughter of Elmer and Ruby Violet Andrew. She retired in 11992 from Madison Consolidated School, where she was a cook for 17 years. She lived in Jefferson County for many years and attended North Madison Christian Church. She was first married to Bud Wingham in 1949 and married again in 1968. She is survived by her husband, Charles A. Johnson, whom she married 14 June 1968; two daughters, Ruthie Lockridge of Madison and Sue Hale of Louisville, Ky,; One step-son, Dennis Johnson of Madison; three sisters , Bonney Mahoney and Nancy Michaels, both of Madison, and Joann Rutherford of Hanover, seven grandchildren, two step-grandchildren, 23 great-Grandchildren; and six great-great grandchildren and several nieces and nephews and other relatives. She was preceded in death by her parents; two daughters, Shirley Wingham in 1946 and Vicky L. Edrington on July 28, 2003; three brothers, Ubel, James T. and Randall Andrew and two grandsons. The funeral will be held at 11 a.m. Friday at Morgan & Nay Funeral Centre. Friends may call at the funeral Home 5 to 8 p.m. Thursday and 9 a.m. Friday until the service. Expressions of sympathy may take the form of contribution to the Huntington Disease Society or the Leukemia Society. Contributions cards are available at the funeral home.
