NETA ALLEN HARRIS
BURLEY — Neta Allen Harris, 89, Burley, died Monday at Cassia Memorial Hospital.
She was born Oct. 23, 1894, in Lewiston, Utah, the daughter of John R. and Sarah Janett Leavitt Allen. She attended schools at Teton.
She married Alma Harris on June 2, 1912, in St. Anthony. They lived in Teton following their marriage. Later, they lived in Newdale, moving to Caldwell in 1950. Following the death of her husband in 1975, she moved to Burley, where she had since resided.
She was a member of the LDS church and had enjoyed music and singing.
Surviving are two sons, Glenwin Harris, Heyburn, and Van Harris, Burley; a sister, Dovey D. Henderson, Boise; four grandchildren; and seven great-grandchildren. She was preceded in death by 11 brothers and sisters.
The funeral will be at 11 a.m. Friday at Payne Memorial Chapel in Burley. Burial will be in Canyon Hill Cemetery at Caldwell at 3 p.m. Friday.
Friends may call at the funeral home Thursday afternoon and evening, and prior to the service Friday.
