Monica Scieszinski
Monica Scieszinski, 68, of Melrose died Jan. 2, 1989, at Monroe County Hospital in Albia. Services will be 11 a.m. Wednesday at St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose, the Revs. Mark Swanson and Charles Gannon officiating. Burial will be in Mount Calvary Cemetery in Melrose.
She was born April 30, 1920, in Georgetown to T. J. and Gertrude Burns O'Neill. She was a homemaker and a member of St. Patrick's Catholic Church in Melrose. She married Joseph Scieszinski Nov. 12, 1946, in Georgetown. He died in 1972.
She is survived by a daughter, Mary Kay Knowles of Georgetown; three grandchildren; three sisters, Bernice and Rita O'Neill of Georgetown and Teresa O'Neill of Muscatine.
She was preceded in death by a son. Gilbert Funeral Home is in charge of arrangements.
