Mrs. Nellie Pauline Braning was the daughter of L.T. and Martha (nee Turley) Hunt and was born in Ste. Genevieve Co., Mo. on June 14, 1882.

She was married to Fred M. Braning on Aug. 25th, 1902. To this union one son was born, Lehman Braning of Bonne Terre, Mo. She died in the Bonne Terre Hospital on May 2, 1930 at 3:40 p.m. from injuries received in an auto accident.

Mrs. Braning was a member of the Baptist church since her childhood and remained a devoted member until her death.

She was 48 years 3 months, and 18 days of age. She leaves to mourn her departure, her husband, Dr. Fred Braning, Mr. and Mrs. Lehman Braning; two grand-daughters Betty Lee and Mary Louise of Bonne Terre. Three brothers and one sister, Chas. M. Hunt of Shreveport, La., E.V. Hunt of San Juan, Tex. L.T. Hunt, of Bonne Terre, Mrs. Wm. Cunningham of St. Louis, one brother E.A. Hunt and one sister Jessie hunt having preceded her in death.

She also leaves 3 half brothers and 5 half sisters E.J. Hunt Lee B. Hunt; Joe R. Hunt, of Farmington, Mrs. E.C. Morton and Miss Margaret Hunt of Hay Springs, Neb.; Mrs. A.L. Swinford of St. Louis, Mrs. Floyd Meyer and Miss Reba Hunt of Farmington, and 2 half brothers Bryan and Kossuth Hunt , having died in infancy.

The deceased was admired and loved by all who knew her. She lived a noble live of usefulness. It was a pleasure to her to administer to the sick and suffering. She will be greatly missed by her loved ones and at her church where she so generously offered her services whenever they were needed.

Funeral services were held Monday at 2:30 p.m. at the First Baptist Church at Farmington, conducted by her pastor, Rev. E.H. Zipprodt. Burial in K.P. Cemetery.
