Dr. Frederick Norton Braning, son of the late Jacob and Mary Zimmer Braning, was born in Iron Mountain, Mo., on June 23, 1874, and passed away on February 18, 1947, in Farmington, aged 72 years 7 months 25 days.
Dr. Braning, a practicing physician in Farmington for many years, was preceded in death by his wife, Nellie P. Hunt Braning, who was killed in an automobile accident sixteen years ago. A son, Leeman Braning of Bonne Terre, and several grandchildren, survive.
Funeral services were held Wednesday afternoon at the Cozean Funeral Home, conducted by Rev. S. C. Headrick. Interment was in the K. of P. Cemetery.
