Christine passed away on Monday, June 8, 2015, in Bedford.
She was born on July 29, 1918, in Martins Mill to the late George W. and Hattie Hobbs Stringer.
Christine was a member of the Bethel Baptist Church where she worked in the nursery for many years. She was a resident of New Chapel Hill for 61 years. She loved to quilt and also had worked as a seamstress.
She is survived by her son, John Norris and his wife Sandra, of Irving; three grandchildren, Jennifer McDonald and her husband Terry, of Wichita Falls; Christopher Norris and his wife Jenny, of Irving, and Jessica Pena and her husband Rick, of Mesquite; six great-grandchildren, Ben Norris, Ricky Pena, Kayla Norris, Elisabeth McDonald, Aleck Pena and Will McDonald.
