Samuel Edward Heit, aged 65, died this morning at the home of his son, Henry W. Heit, No. 685 Church street of a complication of ailments. He was a tinsmith by occupation, but was an invalid for several years. Mr. Heit was a well-known musician. He was a member of the old Coates' Band and of a number of organizations that succeeded it. The following children survive him: Fred S. Heit, Henry W. Heit and Samuel J. Heit, all of Easton, He also leaves a brother, Henry A. Heit of Easton and Mrs. Sallie Danner, of Bethlehem. He was a member of Camp No. 193, P.O.S. of A. and Trinity Episcopal Church.
