Funeral services for Dorothy May Abbott, University City High School teacher for 37 years, will be at 2 p.m. Monday at Alexander & Sons chapel, 6175 Delmar Boulevard. Burial will be in Lincoln, Neb.
Miss Abbott, 73, died Friday at Jewish Hospital. She retired in 1967 as a teacher of commercial subjects at University City High School, and as an adult education teacher for many years.
She was a member of the National Missouri Suburban Teachers Association, St. Louis Area Business Teachers Association, United Business Education Association, the Daughters of the American Revolution, the Nebraska Society of Colonial Dames 17th Century, and was national vice president of Pi Lambda Theta in 1958. She was born in Lincoln.
Surviving is a brother, Arthur, of San Jose, California.
