Mrs. George Bax, 83, Dies Friday; Funeral Tuesday
Mrs. George (Glendora M) Bax, 83, died Friday at Rest Haven Nursing Home at Weeping Water after a long illness. She had lived in Plattsmouth 20 years.

Funeral services will be Tuesday at 11 a.m. at Caldwell Funeral Home, the Rev. Fr. Richard F. Miles Jr. of St. Luke's Episcopal Church officiating.

Burial will be in Oak Hill Cemetery.

Visiting hours are today from 3 to 6 p.m. and 7 to 9 p.m.

Mrs. Bax was born Dec. 17, 1885, at Lincoln, daughter of Clarence and Annie Bell Palmer. She was married to George Bax in 1923 in Lincoln. He survives.

Other survivors are son Arthur L. Abbott of San Jose, Calif.; daughter Dorothy M. Abbott of St. Louis, Mo., two grandchildren; nieces Mrs. Charles Bax and Mrs. Lester Felton, both of Plattsmouth; and nephews John W. Brooks of Portland, Ore., and Glenn Brooks of Plattsmouth.

Mrs. Bax was a member of the Auxiliary to the World War One Veterans.
