RIVES - Floyd Laymon Jacobs, 77, farmer, died of cancer Monday at his home. Services will be at 11 a.m. today at Alamo Baptist Church here, where he was a former deacon, with burial in Alamo Cemetery. Murphy Funeral Home has charge. He was a member of Martin Masonic Lodge 551. Mr. Jacobs, the husband of Mary Beatrice Hill Jacobs, also leaves three daughters, Janice Ray of Africa, Jeannie Wilson of Martin and Teresa Reaves of Sharon; three sons, Laymon Jacobs, David Jacobs and Dickie Jacobs, all of Rives; five sisters, Modean Collier, Monette Turner, Joy Stephens, Sarah Hazlewood and Durell Royster, and a brother, Billie Jacobs, all of Martin, 13 grandchildren and eight great-grandchildren.
