He was born September 10, 1927, to parents Andrew Jackson and Ada Waldrop Deese. Mr. Deese served in the Navy and was a Veteran of World War II. He served Cullman County in many capacities for over 50 years and was especially proud of his contributions to Cullman County.
He was preceded in death by his parents; his wife, Ruthie Mae Holland Deese; brothers, Cleon, Iril, Duell, Norman, and Jean Deese; and sisters, Forrest Gorham, and Merle Welch.
Funeral services for Mr. Deese, will be 1pm Monday, May 18, 2015 at Cullman Heritage Funeral Home Chapel with interment in Simcoe Methodist Cemetery.
