Final rites for Mrs. Dora Wells, age 81, former Cartersburg resident, were Tuesday morning in Tucson, Arizona. Burial was in the Grantwood Cemetery there. She died Saturday evening in a nursing home at Glendale, Arizona. She was the widow of the late John B. Wells, well-known in the Cartersburg community.
Survivors include three daughters, Norene Smith, Danville; Mary Ross, Plainfield; and Betty Swinford, Phoenix, Arizona; and one sister, Daisy Beason, Bainbridge; seven grandchildren and seven great-grandchildren.
