Claris was the daughter of Jacob Theodore Hilliard and Sarah Jane Taylor. Claris died at the Memorial City Hospital in Houston, TX. after a long illness at age 81. She married Haskell R. McClain and had 2 sons: Raymond and Ronnie McClain. Claris then married Roy F. Miller on 5-20-1961 in Caro, Mich., and had 1 son: Ronnie Miller. She was preceded in death by one son, Raymond, who died in 1992 and her parents. She is survived by her husband Roy of the home: two sons, Ronnie McClain of Beaverton, Mich., and Will Miller of Katy, Texas, : one sister Edna Foust of Myrtle Creek, OR.: seven grandchildren and 11 great-grandchildren. Serving as pallbearers will be Leroy Hilliard, Larry Glen Hilliard, Jackie Jones, Clarence Jones, and Larry Armstrong. Interment will be in the Council House Cemetery. The service is under the direction of Jim Thomas Funeral Home in Welch, OK.
