John R. Tardiff

John passed away peacefully on Jan 19, 2014 in his Mountlake Terrace home. He was born on May 20, 1924 in Duluth, Minnesota to Joe and Agnes Tardiff. He served in the 211th army airfield base unit in WWII. He retired in 1990 from the masonry trade and bricklayers union where he was a tuck pointer for 37 years.

John was an avid skier and loved fishing, hunting, gardening, and travel. He is survived by his loving wife, Kaye; his children, Sandy, John, Tracy & Paula and six grandchildren. A memorial service celebrating John's life will be held at 2 pm at the Innis Arden Club House in Richmond Beach on February 4, 2014. His kind nature and gentle spirit will always be treasured in our hearts. We were blessed to have him in our lives.
