JOHNSTON — Jenelle Long Harmon, 75, of 513 Church St., died Saturday, December 13, 2008, at her residence.
Born in Saluda County and a daughter of the late Wilbur C. and Sara Black Long, she was the wife of the late Kinard J. Harmon. Mrs. Harmon was a homemaker and attended Cedar Creek Church in Aiken.
Surviving are a son and daughter-in-law, Dwight and Sherrie Harmon of Johnston, two daughters and sons-in-law, Amy and Dean Derrick of Monetta and Kim and Michael Hatfield of Johnston; one brother, Carroll Long of Ward, four sisters, Rena Hutto of Alma, GA, Marian Duffie of Saluda, Betty Koon of Newberry and Judy Fallaw of Ware Shoals; nine grandchildren and five great-grandchildren.
Four brothers, Frank Long, John David Long, Dub Long and Harold Long, preceded Mrs. Harmon in death.
A memorial service will be at 6:00 Monday evening, December 15, 2008, at Ramey Funeral Home Chapel with Rev. Phillip Lee officiating. The family will receive friends following the service.
