Anna was the daughter of David Mercier and Hermine Allard, she married Israel Mercier b Apr 1 1886 Burlington the son of Hector Mercier and Melvina Marier on Nov 21 1910 at St Anthony's Church, Burlington, Vt. Israel died on Dec 27 1960 in Colchester, Vt They had 3 children. Anna and Israel are buried at Holy Cross Cemetery, Malletts Bay, Colchester.

Funeral services held Friday at 10 a.m. in Holy Cross Roman Catholic Church, Malletts Bay, with the Rev Donald Bean, grand nephew of the deceased celebrating the Mass of Christian Burial, the Rev William Hammond Pastor of Holy Cross Church was present in the sanctuary, also serving as leader of song; Interment followed in Holy Cross Cemetery with Father Bean officiating the committal service; delegation was present form the Religious Sisters of Mercy in Burlington. Bearers: Eugene, James, John and Robert Gingras, Norman McQueen and Chester Lentendre. Arrangements were by the Boucher and Pritchard Funeral Service.
