Pablita was born in Cuba, NM on March 18, 1929 to the late Eduardo and Aurelia Aragón.
Pablita grew up in Cuba then married the love of her life, Mariano B. Lucero who preceded her in death October of 2011. They married in 1954 and moved to Cañon, NM where they made their wonderful life together.
Pablita was very devoted to her church, Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. Pablita drove a school bus for a few years and also helped raise friends and neighbors children with her daycare service.
Pablita is survived by her loving family, son, Mariano Lucero Jr. and his wife, Sally, daughters, Carol Durán and her husband, Pete and Agnes Trujillo and her husband, Richard, grandchildren, Mark Lucero, Michael Lucero, Gilbert Durán, Melinda Lucero, Lawrence Durán, Chris Durán, Manuel Lucero, Steven Trujillo and Malarie Trujillo, great-grandchildren, Nathan, Alexander, Michael, Lysa, Audrey, Mariana and Jenna, great-great-granddaughter, Aleyah, sisters, Guadalupita García and Sarah Trujillo as well as many nephews and nieces whom she loved dearly.
Pablita was deeply loved and will be greatly missed by all.

Services will be held at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Cañon, NM. A Rosary will be recited on Thursday, April 23, 2015 at 7:00 p.m. with a Viewing to begin at 5:00 p.m. A Mass of Christian Burial will be celebrated on Friday, April 24, 2015 at 11:00 a.m. Interment will follow at the family plot in Cañon. Pallbearers will be her grandsons Mark, Michael, Gilbert, Lawrence, Chris, Manuel and Steven. Honorary Pallbearers will be her granddaughters, Melinda and Malarie.
