Death came to George A. Heuston at his home a half mile south of the city Sunday night about 11:30 o'clock.
Mr. Heuston was born in Orange county, Illinois [New York], April 30, 1864 and had farmed it south of town for the past four years. Previous in his removal to Rockford he conducted a farm near Durand for some time.
The deceased is survived by the widow and five children, the latter being Elva, Walter, Floyd, Leslie and and Arleyn Heuston. Three brothers also survive him, O.B. Heuston, of Los Angeles, Calif., E.W. Heuston, of Rockton, and Charles Heuston, of Rockford.
The funeral will be held from the home Tuesday forenoon at 11 o'clock and the remains will be taken to Rockton for interment.
Mr. Heuston was a member of the county court jury panel for the present term. He was among those questioned for service on the D'Agostin case but was excused. On his arrival home Thursday evening he complained of an attack resembling apoplexy and continued failing until the end came Sunday night.
