Visitations may be made at the Hansen Chapel in Marshfield from 2 p.m. to 9 p.m. today (Friday) and at the church from 11 a.m. Saturday until time of services.
Mr. Turner was born Feb. 18, 1899, in Beloit and was educated in Pittsville. where he first took up farming. His marriage on June 2, 1924, at Pittsville was to the former Lena Van Dan, who survives him. The couple observed their golden wedding anniversary in June of this year.
After their marriage they farmed near Pittsville until 1965, at which time Mr. Turner worked for Fur Foods until 1969. In March, 1970, they moved to Hillsboro, where he was employed at the Kickapoo Oil Company until retiring in 1973 and moving back to Pittsville.
Surviving him are seven daughters; a brother, Leland, Oshkosh; 27 grandchildren; and 15 great-grandchildren.
Two sisters preceded him in death.
