Leland Turner, 71, Oshkosh, formerly of Pittsville, died at 11 p.m. Wednesday at Mercy Hospital, Oshkosh, of complications of old age. Services will be at 1:30 p.m. Saturday at Hansen Chapel Marshfield, the Rev. Dan Carlson officiating, with burial in Mound Cemetery, Pittsville.
Mr. Turner was born Sept. 25, 1903, at Beloit. He was a graduate of Stevens Point Business College and worked as a bookkeeper in a Wautoma hotel after graduation. Later he moved to Oshkosh where he has lived since.
Surviving are seven nieces.
Friends may call at the funeral home from 7 to 9 p.m. today and Saturday until time of services.
