Clara Bell Pyatte was called home to her Heavenly Father April 15th after a struggle with cancer.
Clara was born on July 22, 1934 in Vienna West Virginia to Ann Belle Thorn and Gerald Forest Thorn.
In her early years, Clara moved to Texas and settled in San Antonio. Clara was an educator. For many years she worked with younger children at local area daycares and operated her own daycare center. Afterwards, Clara worked in the North East Independent School District as a teacher's aide before retiring to assist various family members.
Her parents, first husband Howell Cobb and sons Roger Cobb and Dean Cobb preceded her in death.
She is survived by her loving husband Norman M. Pyatte, sisters Mary Ware and Martha Ware, daughters Deanna Comer, Shelly Burnam and Lynette Haas, 14 grandchildren and 10 great grandchildren.
Visitation will be held Tuesday April 21st from 5:00pm -9:pm at Mission Park South Funeral Chapel.
Funeral services will be held at 11:00 am, Wednesday April 22nd at Mission Park South Funeral Chapel.
Graveside services to follow at Mission South.
