Raymond F. Beaver, 78, of Switz City passed away at 1:54 A.M. on Tuesday May 16, 2006 at Greene County General Hospital in Linton. Born March 4, 1928 in Cayuga Indiana he was the son of Geroge & Evelyn (Keister) Beaver. He was a truck driver for Mayflower Van Lines, Bland, & Stiners, Retired. He was a member of the Moose Lodge # 1443 in Linton. Surviving relatives include his wife Ellen (Sweat) Beaver of Switz City, 5 Sons Bob Beaver of Terre Haute Indiana, David Beaver of Heustis Florida, Raymond Beaver Jr. of Fairview Heights Illinois, Richard Beaver of Marshalltown Iowa, James Beaver of Switz City Indiana. 3 Daughters Gloria Jean Ramsey of Deltona Florida, Rena Kent of Daleville Albama, Roxanna Mitchell of Switz City Indiana. 2 Brothers Homer Beaver of Fairbanks Indiana, & Ernest Beaver of Terre Haute Indiana. 2 Sisters Katherine Meneely of Terre Haute Indiana, & Glorian Hayworth of Terre Haute Indiana. 27 Grandchildren & 22 Great Grandchildren. He was preceded in death by his parents, 3 infant children, 1 Grandchild, 5 Brothers, & 1 Sister. There will be no public visitation, Graveside services will be Monday May 22, 2006 at Switz City Cemetery at 3:00 P.M. with the Linton Moose Lodge doing the service, Burial at Switz City Cemetery.
