ERWIN WEHLING PASSES AWAY SATURDAY

Erwin Martin Carl Wehling, age 57, passed away very suddenly Saturday evening, April 24, 1962, at his home in Varna from an apparent heart attack. He was the son of Albert and Bertha Quiram Wehling and was born November 10, 1905, near Varna, IL.
He was married October 7, 1930 in the Zion Lutheran church in Wenona, IL to Julia Junker who survives along with a daughter Judy, at home. Also surviving is a sister, Mrs. Raymond Schoof, at Varna.
Mr. Wehling farmed near Varna before moving into town in 1951 and began working at the Owens Illinois Glass Company in Streator where he was employed until the time of his death.
Funeral services were held Tuesday afternoon in the St. Paul's Lutheran church of which he was a member with Rev. T. A. Richarts of Wenona officiating. Burial was made in the St. Pauls Lutheran Cemetery at Varna, IL.
