Romeo Richard Coy Sr., 74, of Baytown, TX, passed away on April 11, 2015. He was born on July 20, 1940 in St. Paul, TX. He worked at Robert E. Lee High School as security, loved listening to music and watching the Dallas Cowboys. He was a member of St. Joseph Catholic Church in Baytown.
He was preceded in death by his parents, Juan Delossantos Coy and Maria Pena; daughter, Anabelle Buggs; and son, Guillermo "Willie" Coy.
He is survived by his wife, Lidia Cisneros Coy; sons, Romeo D. Coy Jr. and wife Catherine, Joseph D. Coy Sr. and wife Irene; daughters, Sylvia and husband Jim Beaird, Kathryn and husband Joe Angel Garcia; 12 grandchildren; several great-grandchildren; and numerous nieces and nephews.
The family will receive friends on Monday, April 13, 2015 from 5:00 to 8:00 p.m. with a rosary beginning at 7:00 p.m. at Earthman Funeral Home.
A mass of Christian burial will be held on Tuesday, April 14, 2015 at 10:30 a.m. at St. Joseph Catholic Church, 1907 Carolina Ave, Baytown, TX 77520. Interment will follow at Memory Gardens Cemetery, Baytown, TX.
Serving as pallbearers will be Jim Beaird, Abel Adam Coy, Steven Coy, Joseph Delossantos Coy, Sr., Romeo Delossantos, Jr., and Joe Angel Garcia, Jr.
