MONTICELLO - Caleb Cauble, 74, 223 Western Heights Dr., died unexpectedly at 5 a.m. today in his residence.

He was born June 22, 1909, in Washington County, near Salem, to Claude and Martha Morris Cauble. On Oct. 10, 1932, he was married to Inez Knight, who survives.

A resident of Monticello more than 50 years, he moved from Salem. He retired in 1971 from RCA in Monticello. He was a member of the Masonic Lodge, Monticello.

Also surviving are three daughters, Martha Davidson, Atlanta, Ga., Marilyn Crowel, Rt. 1, Delphi, and Marjorie Quackenbush, Monticello; three brothers, Morris, Westfield, and Burl and Lloyd, both of Salem; a sister, Wilma Barrett, Charleston; 12 grandchildren and nine great-grandchildren.

Services will be at 3 p.m. Sunday in Miller-Voorhis Funeral Home, with the Rev. Hent Fisher officiating. Burial will be in Riverview Cemetery.

Friends may call from 4 to 9 p.m. Saturday in the funeral home, where Mason services will be held at 8 p.m.
