Inez M. Cauble, 104, of Monticello, died at 1:40am on Sunday, January 13, 2013 at White Oak Health Campus in Monticello.

She was born July 8, 1908 in Campbellsburg, IN to the late Virgil and Florence Mae (Gilstrap) Knight. Her marriage was to the late Caleb Adam Cauble on October 10, 1932 in Edinburgh, IN. He died on December 2, 1983.

Mrs. Cauble was a homemaker, and had been a member of Crystal Chapter #156 Order Eastern Star. Mrs. Cauble enjoyed crocheting, playing cards and crossword puzzles. She also enjoyed vegetable and flower gardening and traveling. She was known for her beautiful smile. She was dearly loved by her family and had provided them with the care and love of a mother devoted unselfishly to them through her entire life.

She is survived by 3 daughters, Martha Davidson of Carmel, Marilyn (John) Crowel of Delphi, Marjorie (Jim) Quakenbush of Monticello; brother, Roger (Betty) Knight of Beechgrove; 5 granddaughters, Alicia (Jim) Wright of Monticello, Elizabeth (Tom) Oilar of Monticello, Karen Cauble of Eau Claire, WI , Ellen (Darrel) Dominick of Oklahoma, Julie (Brent) O'Farrell of Delphi; 5 grandsons, Brian (Betsy) Davidson of Carmel, Ted (Becky) Crowel of Monticello, Bradley Davidson of Carmel, Timothy (Jackie) Crowel of Delphi, Gregory Cauble of Lafayette; 19 great grandchildren; and 20 great great grandchildren.

She was also preceded in death by a son, Marvin Cauble; grandsons, James Quakenbush, Jr. and Joseph Quakenbush; brother, Kenneth Knight; sister, Ruby Staton; son-in-law, Gil Davidson.

Visitation will be from 11am until the time of services at 1pm , Thursday, January 17, 2013 at Springer-Voorhis-Draper Funeral Home with Rev. Ken Smith officiating.

Burial will be at Riverview I.O. O.F. Cemetery in rural Monticello.

Memorial donations my be given to the Hickory Grove Church or to the Idaville First Church of God. Envelopes will be available at the funeral home.
