Son of William T. (b. England) and Rachel Likens (b. OH) Bell, he was single, a florist and clerk at Limber Bakery, lived at 1436 Buffalo St, Franklin, died at Franklin Hospital of angina pectoris with large, hard, irregular liver, possibly cancer, per death certificate 64883, whose informant was John Bell, Box 301, Niantic, CT. Buried Jul 7 1942.

Albert Edward Bell, 58, of 1436 Buffalo Street, died of heart disease in Franklin Hospital, where he'd been a week, at 1:15 am Saturday. He had been in ill health for 4 years, but his condition did not become serious until recently. He was born in Franklin Sept. 5, 1883, son of William T. and Rachel Likens Bell.

He lived in Franklin practically all his life, and for many years was engaged in the floral business. In more recent years, he worked in the accounting department of the L. L. Limber Bakery. He was a member of St. John's Episcopal Church, the Monday Evening Musical Society, and the Playhouse. He was interested in music and art, and for many years was a member of the choir of the Episcopal Church. Possessed of a fine basso voice, his ability as a singer was well-known. Years ago he brought a number of concert artists to Franklin, including David Bispham, Anna Case, Geraldine Farrar, and others.

Surviving are a brother, John Bell, of Niantic, CT; and a sister, Miss Anna Bell, with whom he lived, and who has been an invalid for several years.

Services were at 3 pm Monday at St. John's Church, with Rev. W. Robert Webb, rector, officiating. Interment was in Franklin Cemetery.
