Verna D. Ammerman, 97, of Pendleton, Ind., and formerly of Clay City, died Saturday, Nov. 6, 2004, in the Rawlins House Nursing Facility in Pendleton.
She was a homemaker.
She was preceded in death by her parents, Isaiah and Minnie Griffith Duncan; a son, Clifford H. Ammerman; a daughter, Anna Ammerman; sisters, Ethel Dickey, Clara Farmer, Bessie Ratzer and Tressie Fair; brothers, Raymond "Pete" Clifford and Chester Duncan; and two infant brothers.
Survivors include a sister-in-law, Naomi Duncan, of Clay City and many nieces and nephews.
Services will be at 11 a.m. Tuesday in Schoppenhorst Funeral Home with visitation 10 a.m. until time of services. Burial will be in Roselawn Memorial Park.
