Born Jan. 30, 1910 in Clay County, he was the son of Isiah and Mannie (Griffith) Duncan.
He was retired from Peabody Coal Company as a tipple operator, also retired from farming. He was a member of the Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville and U.M.W.A. Local 1410.
Survivors include, his wife, Naomi Duncan of Jasonville; one daughter, Ruth E. Duncan of Jasonville; one sister, Verna Ammerman of Pendleton; and several nieces and nephews.
He was preceded in death by his parents, two sisters, and two brothers.
Funeral services will be at Lawton Street Christian Church in Jasonville at 11 a.m. on Wednesday, with the Rev. Mark Messmer officiating. Burial will follow at Peavy Cemetery at Howesville.
