Mr. Duncan was born in Clay County to Isaiah and Minnie (Griffith) Duncan on July 3, 1904.
He was married to the former Ruby Adamson, who preceded him in death on May 3, 1971.
Surviving are four sons, William, Raymond, Robert and Fred; one daughter, Miss Alice Duncan; four sisters, Mrs. Verna Ammerman, Mrs. Clara Farmer, Mrs. Trassie Fair, and Mrs. Ethel Dickie; one brother, Raymond "Pete"; and eight grandchildren.
Nass and Son Chapel in Huntingburg; burial will be in Fairmount Cemetery.
