To the Memory of Cornelia Beach Lawrence, widow of Isaac Lawrence and daughter of Rev. Abraham Beach, D.D., and Ann Van Winkle, his wife; born in Somerset County, New Jersey, on the 22nd day of April, 1777, and died in the City of Brooklyn on the 12th day of Sept., 1837. [Note: this is an error, either in the transcription or on the gravestone itself; she died 12 Sept 1857 -- see NY Evening Post, 14 Sept 1857, page 3]
