Funeral Services On Saturday at 2 p.m.
Rev. William Allen Greenup, 91, 310 East Second Street, died in a local hospital Wednesday.
Funeral services will be Saturday, Oct. 25, at 10 a.m. in the Church of the Nazarene, with Rev. R. Lloyd Birks officiating. Burial will be in Camp Creek Nazarene cemetery.
Mr. Greenup was born June 7, 1856, in Alamakee, Iowa, where he was reared and educated. He was married at Fertile, Iowa, to Laura F. Hennis, March 15, 1877. He lived for years in both Minnesota and North Dakota, and was ordained Elder in 1892.
His first parish was in Mason City, Iowa, with later charges in Minnesota, North Dakota and Montana, and he served the parish at Watts, Calif. For the past 12 years he has lived in Williston. He was a member of the Methodist church.
Surviving are his wife; four daughters, Mrs. C. M. Scott, Williston; Mrs. Chas. Makings, Santa Cruz, Calif.; Mrs. Leona Burnett, Visalia, Calif.; Mrs. John Lawhead, Vancouver, Wash.; two sons, John W. Greenup and William H. Greenup of Williston.
There are 22 grandchildren and 40 great grandchildren.
Six brothers and three sisters preceded him in death.
