He Was an Old Resident and Highly Respected Citizen.
Mount Pleasant, November 07 -- James GUNDERSEN, one of the old residents of Mount Pleasant and a highly respected citizen, died at his home on Tuesday morning after a long and severe illness. He was a native of Norway and about 65 years of age. He came to this city when a wound man, after having embraced the tenets of the Mormon religion, and has resided here ever since, being known in the community as an upright and honest man. He leaves a wife and eight children, six of whom are married. The Funeral was held here today at one o'clock.
