MOTHER PASSES
Mrs. Carrie Gunderson Fowles, 63, of Sutherland, died Thursday in Salt Lake City.
She was born in Mt. Pleasant, May 31, 1879. Her husband, W.E. Fowles, died March 31, 1933.
She is survived by four daughters and five sons, Mrs. Spencer Tolley and Mrs. Leon Bendixon of Zillah, Wash.; Mrs. Reo Sanders of Richfield and Mrs. Bert Jensen of Delta; sons, Ellan Auer, Earl, Vernon, all of Delta; Ervin W. of Salt Lake and Vale Fowles of Oregon.
Funeral services were held Saturday in the Sutherland Church conducted by Bishop Bryant Larson. Opening prayer by Calvin Jones. Solo "Abide With Me" by Mrs. M.J. Moody. Address by Bishop Geo. R. Jackson, a violin solo "Oh My Father" by Morgan Edwards. An address by Kimball Johansen. A solo "Silver Threads Among the Gold". Address by Bishop Cutler Henrie and a solo "Perfect Day" by Mrs. M.J. Moody. Closing prayer by Albert Ogden.
Burial was at the Mt. Pleasant cemetery.
