Mrs. Louisa Meredith, 75 of LaFollette, died early Sunday morning at LaFollette Community Hospital. She was a member of Elk Fork Baptist Church.
Survivors: three sons, Curtis Meredith, LaFollette, James Meredith, Jacksboro, and Charles Meredith of Dayton, Ohio; four daughters, Mrs. Linda Johnson and Mrs. Mildred Steakley both of LaFollette, Mrs. Louise Lindsay and Mrs. Muriel Holbrook, both of Ohio; brother, Russell Baird; five sisters, Mrs. Hazel Allen, Mrs. Mattie Whitus and Mrs. Wilma Smith all of Houstonville, Ky, Mrs. Etta Meredith of Jacksboro and Mrs. Evelyn Tidwell of LaFollette; 18 grandchildren; 12 great-grandchildren; several nieces and nephews.
Funeral services were Tuesday, August 24 at the First Independent Baptist Church with the Rev. Howard Tapp officiating. Burial was in Woodlawn Cemetery.
Martin Funeral Home, LaFollette, was in charge of arrangements.
