Ferry “Jean” Lees, 83, of East Greenville, passed away March 22, 2015. She was the widow of Robert “Rebel” Elwood Lees Sr. Born in Prudge Creek, Adger, AL, she was a daughter of the late Greely and Martha Ethel (McCraw) Gilbert. Jean was employed at the former Plummer Optics, Pennsburg before retiring in 1993. Prior to that, she was a machine operator at Emico in Perkasie.
Surviving are children: Linda Mamatuck, of Bechtelsville; Robert Elwood Lees Jr. of Altoona; William Lees, of East Greenville; Sandra, wife of Philip Greger, of Alburtis; and Nancy Henry, of Allentown; 17 grandchildren; and 20 great-grandchildren. She was pre-deceased by a daughter Diane and siblings: Lloyd, Leamon, Melvin, Roy, Gladys, Itra, Caroline, & Eloyce.
A Memorial Service will be at 10 AM on Saturday at the Falk Funeral Home, 163 Main Street, Pennsburg. Interment will be held at 12:30 PM in Friendship Methodist Cemetery, Elmer NJ.
